We are looking for an Activities Champion for Burleys Wood, where you will join a team dedicated to enhancing the lives of those in our care. We strive to deliver the highest standard of care, using advanced technology to allow more interaction with our service users. Burleys Wood is recognized for its exceptional care quality, placing the needs of service users at the forefront. As an Activities Champion, you will be responsible for providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities, and community links. You will also promote the Home by assisting with fundraising events and functions, building positive relationships with service users and their families, while adhering to the Home's policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Formulate an activity profile for each service user in collaboration with care staff. Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment. Maintain accurate and legible records of service users’ activities. Liaise with the senior nurse on duty regarding outings. Research prospective outings for access and toileting facilities. Liaise with senior care assistants regarding service users' medical or nursing care information.
