Head of Pensions and Payroll to manage teams responsible for the payment of more than 22,000 staff and pensioners, and a large number of casual staff, with a total wage bill of nearly £1bn per annum and pension contributions of circa £120m per annum. About the Role • Manage and lead Pensions and Payroll teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.• Oversee payroll accuracy, pension administration, and regulatory compliance.• Advise senior leadership on pensions strategy and policy matters.• Drive system enhancements and process improvements. About You • Expert in pensions/payroll management with PMI or CIPP qualification or equivalent experience.• Proven leadership in a large, complex organisation.• Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.• Proficiency in payroll and pensions systems management.
