Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Transport Planning Placement Student to join our team. As a placement student, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in transport planning, working alongside professionals on a variety of projects. You will assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting, while contributing to the development of transport strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with data collection and analysis of transport networks, including traffic flows, pedestrian movement, and public transport usage;
2. Collaborate with the team to assist with the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans, and other project reports;
3. Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing support where necessary;
4. Help with the preparation of project documentation and assist with administrative tasks related to transport planning projects.
What We Are Looking For
1. Currently studying for a degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or other related field;
2. Strong interest in transport planning, sustainability, and urban development;
3. Good analytical skills and an understanding of transport systems and planning principles;
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
7. A proactive and curious attitude with a willingness to learn.
