To work on any of the Emergency department reception desks providing cover on reception, receiving and directing patients, visitors and staff in a courteous manner To direct and redirect telephone calls in a polite friendly manner To capture patient demographics and any key information relating to their visit To liaise with other departments as required To support the department in the administrative and clerical processes and procedures associated with the running of a clinical service in support of excellent care for patients and their careers.
