You will join a small on-site Finance team, reporting directly to the Management Accountant. This is a permanent full-time role, carrying out all aspects of accounts receivable and payroll function. Core Responsibilities
* Process invoices and customer payments accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.
* Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into the accounting system.
* Lease with Customers regarding any overdue payment.
* Customer Statement reconciliations
* Daily, weekly and monthly reports as required,
* Prepare the monthly payroll and pension submissions, liaising with external payroll and pension providers.
* Maintain Time and Attendance system.
* Maintain LP Core for the branch.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures including assisting on internal and external audits.
Role Specifications
* Experience and knowledge of VAT Reporting .
* Strong working knowledge accounts payable or general accounting experience.
* Experience in accounts receivable operations.
* Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
* Understanding of basic bookkeeping, financial management knowledge.
* Knowledge of relevant accounting software .
* Strong customer relationship and communication skills
Desirable:
* E xperience using MRP systems (Epicor would be advantageous)
* Strong excel skills
* Payroll administration experience (can be trained)
* Good financial and commercial skills desirable
Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation. Additional Detail: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on site.
