Assistant Site Manager – Commercial & Residential Build

The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our clients dynamic team. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager you will assist in overseeing the successful delivery of a commercial and residential build project. Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on-site.
* Monitor health and safety compliance and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Assist with site logistics, material management, and scheduling.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets the required specifications and quality standards.
* Prepare progress reports
* Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams, clients, and external consultants.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a Tier 2 contractor.
* Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes.
* Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
