We are hiring qualified, applied mobile robotics researchers and product developers to join our mobile robotics applications team. Our goal is to push the boundaries of field-deployed automation across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deploy robotic research into real-world applications, considering practical limitations and the needs of non-expert end-users.
2. Design, implement, and test real-time algorithms for robotic systems to interact with dynamic environments.
3. Take ownership of innovative R&D robotic systems from start to finish.
4. Incorporate industrial control systems knowledge to establish standards for hardware selection and PLC software.
5. Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and researchers to maintain, improve, and innovate our robotics platforms.
6. Travel extensively to customer sites around the world.
About You

1. Passionate about deploying robotic research into real-world applications.
2. Familiar with ROS and proficient in Python and/or C++.
3. Experienced with robot programming (e.g., KUKA, UR, Franka).
4. Professionally experienced in working with Python and/or C++.
5. Pro-active with a can-do attitude.
6. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience:
1. Degree in a mechatronic-related engineering field.
2. Experience of implementing and modifying computer vision/robotics algorithms.
3. Demonstrable experience with robot programming (e.g., KUKA, UR, Franka).
4. Professional work experience with Python and/or C++.
5. Experience with middleware (e.g., ROS). (preferred)
6. Experience with CAD/CAM software. (preferred)
7. Experience in selecting components and designing electrical and pneumatic schematics for automation equipment. (preferred)
8. Ability to assemble designed electrical panels.
9. Experience in designing and implementing safety circuitry and safety logic for industrial automation applications.
