The starting salary for this role is £35,730 per annum, working 36 hours per week. This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.

About the Role
As a Recruitment Attraction Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping the council's hiring approach at a time of exciting change within the organisation. Working closely with a Recruitment Attraction Lead, you'll support hiring managers in filling their vacancies through inclusive, eye-catching adverts and cost-effective advertising strategies.
You will help us to proactively source candidates for our challenging roles and collaborate directly with hiring managers to understand their needs. You'll need to stay informed about the external job market and the internal recruitment needs of our colleagues to plan strategic, attractive campaigns with the help of our social and digital advertising team.

* What key considerations would you take into account when creating inclusive and engaging recruitment content to ensure fairness and effectiveness?
* What is your understanding of proactive resourcing, and what key skills are essential to implement it effectively within a team?
* Can you describe a time when you identified a way to improve a process and made changes that led to improvements?
* What types of data do you think would be most useful for making informed decisions in recruitment and resourcing?
To be considered for shortlisting, your CV and answers to the above will clearly demonstrate the following criteria:
* Confidence in creating inclusive and engaging content and liaising with stakeholders to implement an effective, fair, and inviting recruitment process
* Knowledge of proactive resourcing strategies and the skills required to help the team move to a more proactive model
* Be outcomes focused with an ability to look at processes and spot ways in which we can improve to add more value to our offer to the council
* A strong communicator who is able to share their thoughts with our team and stakeholders, developing and fostering relationships with services across the council
* An interest in the data available to us in People and Change and external market insights to drive data supporting decision making.
