Are you ready to take the helm of our dynamic Whittan Sales Hub? This is your chance to lead a vibrant team encompassing telesales, pre-sales design, and telemarketing, driving innovation and results! In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead our mission to achieve ambitious sales and margin targets across diverse product lines—ranging from cutting-edge pallet racking and shelving to sleek lockers and comprehensive after-sales services. You’ll be at the forefront of enhancing the customer journey, ensuring first-class service is always the priority, as you guide both inbound and outbound teams to excel against KPIs.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of internal product sales representatives, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to meet sales targets for online and offline sales.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving customer issues.
* Implement and oversee processes to improve customer service and user experiences.
* Collaborate with the design team to understand product capabilities and communicate these effectively to customers.
* Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement with full use and adoption of the companies Salesforce CRM.
* Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer retention.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
* Ensure pricing mandates are followed and communicated accurately to customers.
* Escalation of calls to retain, build relationships and strengthen relationships.
* Identify and assign opportunities outside the internal team's scope to the external field sales team specialists.- i.e. “best route for conversion” model after needs assessment and allocation to the relevant designer.
* Utilise data to drive decision-making and strategy development.
Required experience/skills/qualifications:
* Minimum GCSE A-C or equivalent in English, Science and Maths
* Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
* Strong understanding of customer service principles and practice
* Results oriented with high drive for target achievement
* Strategic thinker and planner
* Proven experience as an Internal Sales Manager in B2B with a successful track record.
* Proficiency in CRM software and analytics – ideally Salesforce.
* Worked with drawing software before – AutoCAD ideally
* Previous experience in the storage industry
