Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with experience in structural alterations, to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis in the London area. The Contracts Manager will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of construction projects, managing contractual agreements, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. The position requires close coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning through to completion.
• Oversee contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timelines are met and resources are optimally allocated.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial oversight.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead and manage negotiations to resolve any contract-related disputes or issues.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards on all projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Qualifications / Experience
• Proven experience in Contract Management, Project Management, and Construction Management.
• Proven experience delivering structural alterations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost control on construction projects.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
