We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy Private Sector Housing team. As part of our Better Homes for All programme, we ensure our residents are living in safe, warm, and healthy homes.
You will join our team of dedicated professional officers covering a diverse range of housing services, from commissioning to enforcement, empty properties, and affordable warmth.
You will be involved in supporting programme managers on projects such as government-funded capital grant programmes to help retrofit our least energy-efficient homes in the borough. You will work closely with customer-facing services as well as contractors and partner local authorities.
You will play a key role in our climate change programmes to help us reach our net-zero carbon targets. You will also work closely with housing enforcement officers to collate data and produce reports for proactive enforcement programmes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced project support officer who works well in a team and autonomously.
