We have a fantastic opportunity for a Resident Liaison Officer - Building Safety Remediation to join our team on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2027. You will provide our residents in buildings undergoing Fire Safety Remediation works help, support, and information before, during and after the works. You'll act as a link between SNG, our contractors and residents to deliver seamless project communication. You will ensure resident welfare during the works and manage all related operational challenges.
You will work with the Team Leader with a high degree of independence to make decisions that balance resident needs, contractual obligations, and safety requirements. You will have the initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery from a resident viewpoint under minimal supervision.

Based in Wembley you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. There will be travel required to all building remediation sites throughout the London and Hertford region.
What you'll be doing
We are seeking a resident focused and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to ensure management of resident needs and worries during a building remediation project. You will oversee the successful management of residents, answering their needs and ensuring clear communication and resolution of queries, disputes etc. throughout the project. Responsibilities include:
* Act as the primary liaison between residents, contractors, internal teams, and external partners such as local authorities, police, and social services to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Design and deliver comprehensive engagement plans, ensuring residents understand project scope, timescales, and safety measures.
* Organise and lead resident meetings, open days, drop-in sessions, and home visits to provide accurate and transparent project updates.
* Produce and distribute clear, accessible communications such as newsletters, social media updates, and project bulletins.
* Facilitate access for contractors and surveyors, ensuring work is conducted efficiently and in line with safety standards.
* Mediate disputes between residents, contractors, and project teams, minimising disruptions and maintaining positive community relations.
* Carry out comprehensive housing needs and vulnerability assessments, identifying and addressing specific resident requirements.
* Oversee and coordinate contractor activities, ensuring compliance with lease agreements and resident access requirements.
What we need from you:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
* Demonstrated experience in resident engagement, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet project and resident needs.
* An enhanced DBS check is required.
