What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate will bring a foundation in IT infrastructure, along with practical knowledge of hardware, databases, operating systems, and local area networks. Ideally will have hands-on experience with IT applications and service processes commonly used within the industry, as well as a deep understanding of Windows server environments, Microsoft cloud solutions (including Intune), storage, backup, and virtualisation architecture. What You’ll Achieve: As Junior Helpdesk Engineer you will: Provide guidance to customers on available systems, products, and services, following established procedures Respond to support requests via inbound calls, the AVA chat system, email, or in-person at the office or customer sites Manage calls according to Cantium's standards, ensuring detailed call notes are recorded for all steps taken toward resolution Stay updated on trends and developments within the ever-evolving information technology industry Facilitate effective communication between users and service providers, including external commercial suppliers when necessary.
