Guidant Global is partnering with the UK's esteemed Ministry of Defence to recruit a skilled Occupational Health Nurse. The successful candidate will join our client's innovative and supportive in-house OH team. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the role will involve contributing to the continuous improvement and delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and effective OH service.
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll be required to deliver the OH service across our client's UK operation, including covering any leave, which will involve travel when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the OH service across the UK operation.
2. Conduct case management, health surveillance, fitness-for-work medicals, and travel health awareness.
3. Perform wellness assessments, including phlebotomy.
4. Collaborate with HR, Line Managers, and Health & Safety colleagues.
5. Occasionally travel to other sites to ensure service consistency.
What do you need?
1. An NMC Registered General Nurse - Essential
2. Experience in an OH Nursing setting - Essential
3. Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner (SCPHN) with qualification (part 3)
4. Phlebotomy skills - desirable - willing to have training
5. Experience in Spirometry and audiometry (formally trained - essential)
6. Travel health experience - desirable
7. ECG skills - desirable - training can be given
8. Passionate about health & wellbeing
9. A self-starter - proactive, organised, and able to multi-task well
10. Excellent IT skills and ability to use OH data management system
11. Evidence of appropriate training and career progression.
