Responsibilities Lead on programme delivery, including: Developing and agreeing programme plans. Evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our activities. Feeding back to commissioners on delivery against an agreed programme plan. Ensuring the delivery of all contracted work. Leading on the development and submission of our annual written evidence to the NHS Pay Review Body based on independent research and intelligence and views gathered from employers. Leading on preparation for our oral evidence session with the NHS Pay Review Body, including writing a briefing document to support employers taking part. Supporting national discussions around pay and policy. Facilitating discussions, presentations, and webinars for NHS employers. Build relationships with key stakeholders, including: Engaging with the work of other teams across the directorate and wider organisation to ensure our work is connected and participating in directorate activities such as monthly directorate meetings and away days. Working with the NHS Employers National Engagement Service to develop strategies to keep employers informed of the latest reward developments and to ensure employer views and priorities are considered in our work programme. Working with the internal communications team to create products, resources, and briefings for employers and to plan appropriate media, promotion, and communication activities. Proactively engaging with employers and other stakeholders to understand their views and needs and support them to develop their approach to reward. Providing expert advice and guidance to employers in the NHS on matters relating to reward and to national stakeholders including NHS England and DHSC. Working closely with all team members and the wider directorate on pay, pension and reward activities, planning and communicating effectively to support the delivery of programme objectives. Lead on communications of our work, including: Leading on the development of our pay education work, which supports employers to understand the past and future journey of pay in the NHS. Developing web content on pay and reward issues for the NHS Employers website, ensuring all information is technically accurate and easy to understand. Keeping up to date on the latest developments in pay, pensions and reward and building a detailed technical knowledge of pay and reward issues affecting the NHS. Management Responsibility You will be responsible for the effective line management of the Programme Support Officer including performance management and employee development in line with the organisations Human Resources policies and procedures.
