Are you passionate about retail, customer service, and delivering exceptional experiences? Levy UK is seeking a dynamic Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Cardiff City FC.
As part of Levy, the market leaders in delivering world-class hospitality and catering, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the retail operations at this iconic venue, with 34 retail bars and kiosks – employing up to 200 staff on a full match day across 23 home league fixtures plus internationals and other large scale events.
From matchdays to special events, this is your opportunity to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in overseeing all aspects of retail food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards.
2. Support the recruitment, training, and management of a motivated retail team. Lead by example to inspire excellent performance and service.
3. Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, fostering a welcoming and memorable experience.
4. Assist in achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
5. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across all retail outlets.
6. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful matchday and non-matchday operations.
7. Assist with the set up, organization, and delivery of hospitality supplies across the stadium.
8. Ensure stock levels are maintained, organized and replenished.
About you:
1. Previous experience in a similar retail, hospitality, or F&B management role.
2. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.
3. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
4. Financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
