The Role Join us as a Solar Electrician to drive top-quality solar installations and maintenance. Responsibilities: Install Renewable Energy Components: Install solar electric PV systems, battery storage, and EVs. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is safe and complies with current regulations. Timely and High-Quality Installations: Complete installations in a timely, cost-effective manner to a high standard. Team Collaboration: Assist and work as a team with PV Roofers when required. Continuous Learning: Keep technical knowledge current through company and self-driven training. Project Documentation: Ensure project documents are complete, current, and accurate. Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting as directed. Adherence to Methodology: Effectively apply TLGEC methodology and adhere to site standards. Resource Management: Identify project resources and work with materials efficiently and effectively. What we’re looking for: Technical Expertise : Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems and related electrical components. Attention to Detail : Precision in following technical specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory standards to ensure high-quality installations. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively during installation and maintenance tasks. Safety Awareness : Strong understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Team Collaboration : Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other professionals, such as PV Roofers and project managers, to achieve project goals. Desirable Qualifications: City & Guilds/NVQ Trade Qualified or equivalent, demonstrable experience.
