Providing maintenance support to the facility, we are looking for a craftsmen, who has experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Maintaining equipment and using a computerised maintenance system. Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs to equipment. Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions on industrial/assembly equipment, machinery and building as required. Perform preventative maintenance as per schedules. Order replacement parts and stocks. Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices. Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles: This position requires a Maintenance Technician with relevant industrial manufacturing environment experience. You will have successfully completed a nationally recognized accredited multi year apprenticeship or equivalent qualification and have demonstrated experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance. Be initiative-taking and have the ability to work on your own. The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring active team participation to achieve the agreed objectives. Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities and prepared to carryout “out of hours working” as required. Effective communication, interpersonal and organisation skills. The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures. Good critical thinking skills, necessary to get to the root cause of issues. Prepared to participate in ongoing training in line with new technology business needs and personal development. Willing to work a multi-shift system. Desired Qualifications: Experience in using PLC based systems would be an advantage. Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.
