Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' conditions, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for activities, and establishing links with the local community.

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Other responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
2. Reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff.
3. Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
4. Supporting the establishment of links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.

4. Have previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
Minimum Requirements
Please note this role will require:
1. ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
2. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
