Responsibilities:
1. Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
2. Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles.
3. Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualified mechanic: Fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent) with your own toolkit for standard repairs.
2. Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, including LCVs.
3. Valid UK driving licence: Hold a full manual UK driving licence.
4. High working standards: Take pride in your work and ensure the job is done effectively.
5. Flexible to service demands: Able to work on a flexible shift rota and willing to support your team where necessary.
We're recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Trowbridge Workshop on a permanent contract with the potential to earn up to £45k per annum including overtime. Working hours: Full time - 39.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) with a rotating shift pattern; week 1: 06:00 - 14:30, week 2: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
