The Role:
Join our Younger Adults’ Commissioning Team within Adults’ Health and Care, as a Commissioning Support Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the Commissioning Cycle.
The Younger Adults’ Commissioning Team focuses on delivering a person centred and strengths-based approach that empowers service users and carers to live independent lives across Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health support services.

With experience of working within Health, Housing or Social Care you will use your excellent communication skills to engage and build strong relationships with our providers and ensure the quality of contracts and the service user experience remains high. You will also directly audit as well as develop our services.
Applying your networking skills across both internal and external teams, you will focus on business intelligence, data analysis, provider engagement and financial trouble shooting, as well as support our Finance processes to ensure prompt and accurate payment to our providers.
Using your previous contract management experience gained in a lead role, you will prepare reports from quarterly data returns and support tendering/contracting planning. Specific contracts will be assigned to you where you will collate and analyse complex data from sources including service user feedback and performance and contract delivery data, to successfully resolve issues and identify service development opportunities. This will include producing intelligent insights and reports for your managers and peers to review and inform decision making processes.
Your attention to detail and planning ability will play an important role in helping you to identify any current and future issues to help with the development and implementation of service improvement plans.
