Purchasing Assistant (Part Time)

1to1 Group have a brilliant opportunity for a purchasing assistant to join a small but lovely team in Winchester. This is a part time role of 22.5 hours a week, which could be spread over three days or over five shorter days.
The role would suit someone from an office background or a warehouse administrator environment. This role is to assist the purchasing and stock team of a busy manufacturing company in Winchester who specialise in high end products for the interior design market.
An interest in interior design and home furnishings is essential.
Day to day responsibilities of Purchasing Assistant:
·Liaise with sales team on product orders
·Order processing with suppliers
·Coordinate and control stock
·Arrange dispatch of products
Required skills and experience:
·Interest in interior design
·Prior administration experience
·Experience as a purchasing assistant is desired
·Knowledge of inventory control preferred (could be from a retail or warehouse environment)
·Strong attention to detail
·Good communication and customer service skills
·Good knowledge of MS Office
