Your Role in Detail You’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy while contributing to key projects and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: Data Management: Collect, clean, and organise large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Data Analysis: Explore complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions. Reporting: Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Decision Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. Process Design and Improvement: Develop new workflows to maximise efficiency and value, identifying opportunities to streamline data processes. Data Visualisation: Produce visually engaging charts, graphs, and presentations to effectively communicate analytical findings. Exception Management: Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve data anomalies. Management Information: Provide regular reporting on key business metrics to Senior Management and other departments. SIM Asset Management: Act as a point of contact for SIM stock and queries, including monitoring and processing SIM novations. Who We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you’ll need: Technical Skills SQL Expertise: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, with experience in tools like SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and Toad. Database Development: Experience in designing, building, and developing relational databases. ETL and Automation: Strong skills in Extract, Transform, and Load processes and job scheduling. Documentation: A detail-oriented approach to documenting workflows and procedures. Industry Knowledge Familiarity with energy industry data sources to contextualise and enhance your analyses. Experience Proven experience in a Reporting Analyst or similar role, showcasing your ability to deliver impactful insights.
