Main duties of the job Job purpose The purpose of this role is to provide a full and effective comprehensive range of administrative support to the senior medical workforce in various aspects of their terms and conditions for Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. This includes overseeing activities such as appraisal, revalidation, job planning, and administering the IT systems PReP (Premier IT Revalidation e-Portfolio) and RL Datix eAppraisal and eJobPlan and liaising with the system leads. Key responsibilities will include being the primary point of contact for all medical appraisal and revalidation issues, providing guidance on job plans and their recording on PReP and RL Datix, and assisting in coordinating important meetings and activities related to Job Planning Committee, and more. Additionally, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the Trust and ensuring compliance with GMC revalidation requirements will be essential aspects of this role. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to handle complex queries and sensitive information, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and responsibilities.
