A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive sales team. Role & Responsibilities:
Work towards meeting sales targets and deadlines
Receive customer enquiries and acknowledge receipt
Review and evaluate customer requirements, including technical specifications
Liaise with Engineering, Production, Quality & Purchasing Departments when required, obtain labour costs and machining times from Production Department
Generate quotations in line with customer requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a Sales related position
Ideally a mechanical engineering background within a customer service industry
Qualified to C&G, ONC/HND/HNC level or equivalent is desirable but not essential if previous work experience can demonstrate a sound product knowledge
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings
