This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and all requests to work part-time or flexibly will be considered, allowing for business needs, and will be reviewed annually.
Please note that the salary will be pro rata where part-time hours are undertaken.

Main duties of the job
DPHC is a vibrant and fast-paced organisation which aims to provide the very best primary healthcare to members of the Armed Forces and other entitled personnel. DPHC delivers a clinical service in accordance with NHS Standards and MoD policies.
The primary purpose of the successful candidate will be to provide clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in Defence Primary Health Care (DPHC) dental centres, to enhance force generation and operational capability and minimise dental morbidity on operations.
Job responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which you are responsible, reporting any deficiencies and following all local policies and protocols.
* Providing clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in DPHC dental centres, enhancing force generation and operational capability and minimising dental morbidity on operations.
* There are no expected Line Management responsibilities with this role; any future changes will be discussed with the successful applicant at the time.

Qualifications
* National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Certificate or National Vocational Qualification in Oral Healthcare Dental Nursing Level 3.
* Please provide your membership registration number. You are required to be registered with the relevant professional body, as detailed in the advert, prior to submitting your application. However, applicants who hold the qualifications but are not yet registered with the GDC are eligible to apply for this vacancy, but you must be registered prior to starting in role.
Registrations and Memberships
* General Dental Council Registration GDC is required prior to starting in this role.
