A leading construction firm in the Treforest area of Pontypridd is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their busy office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience, ideally with knowledge of the construction industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily office operations to ensure the smooth running of the business.
2. Oversee administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
3. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to support project coordination.
4. Maintain accurate records, including project documentation and compliance reports.
5. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
6. Support the finance team with basic invoicing and purchase order tracking.
7. Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
8. Work closely with management to implement and improve office processes.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
5. Knowledge of the construction sector is highly desirable but not essential.
6. Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
7. A proactive and problem-solving mindset to support the team effectively.
Hours of work:
8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
