The role of the ED is to treat patients who have serious medical conditions, life-threatening illnesses/injuries and limb-threatening problems by providing a 24-hour care to an average of 240 patients every day. Therefore, you will need to always be pro-active, alert and ready for anything. As a Healthcare Assistant in the Emergency Department, you will work collaboratively with Staff Nurses, Consultants and ambulance staff. We are looking for pro-active, enthusiastic, compassionate individuals who understand the importance of excellence in health and safety and who enjoy working as part of a team.
