IT Auditor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Audit Manager to join a leading Investment Bank in London. This role offers the chance to work across a broad range of IT infrastructure and applications, delivering independent assurance on the IT control environment across multiple business entities in the EMEA region.
The position plays a key role in managing and executing audits, supporting teams of auditors, and contributing to audit opinions provided to senior management and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage IT audits, including planning, execution, and reporting.
* Provide independent insight into IT controls across various business areas and jurisdictions.
* Assess new and established controls across a range of IT functions, including infrastructure, cyber security, and application controls.
* Act as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC), overseeing audit teams, providing coaching, and ensuring high-quality execution.
* Prepare audit recommendations and reports, clearly articulating risks and required improvements to senior management.
* Support senior management with advisory services on IT control environments, risk identification, and regulatory expectations.
* Manage audit assignments efficiently within set timeframes while handling multiple priorities.
Skills & Experience Required
* Degree-educated with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, or equivalent).
* Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cyber security, and applications controls.
* Previous experience in IT audit within a financial services environment, with knowledge of regulatory requirements.
* Hands-on experience with technologies such as firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco), networks (Cisco), Windows (including Azure), Office 365, Unix/Linux, and database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently present findings to senior stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to provide strategic recommendations on IT risks and controls.
