Job summary To provide a comprehensive photographic service to the Dermatology department at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dermatology Clinical Photographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing high quality clinical images of patients' skin conditions using specialised photography techniques and equipment. Main duties of the job The post holder should have extensive knowledge of Dermoscopy, and the use of polarised and non-polarised light to visualise features of the skin that are not visible to the naked eye. Work as an autonomous practitioner and be proficient in all aspects of dermoscopic imaging and dermatology clinical photography, covering a range of clinics, including some evenings and weekends when required. Predominantly your place of work is Leighton Hospital Crewe; there will be times when imaging cover is required for Northwich Victoria Infirmary for which you will be required to make your own transport arrangements to cover these clinics. The post holder will be expected to communicate with a wide range of professionals, Consultants, Doctors, nursing staff and patients/relatives, organising own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service.
