Main duties of the job It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate appropriate training & experienceorthopaedic trauma surgery including complex periarticular fractures of the upper and lower limbs. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the current Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and multi-disciplinary team within the Orthopaedic department, and with colleagues across the Trust Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of patients. To share with colleagues' responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Services including General Orthopaedic On-Call Teaching and training of junior staff and Medical Staudent To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
