This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping students with a range of additional needs to thrive and develop. Position Details: Role: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Swadlincote, SEN School Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term-time only) Daily Rate: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Support students with a variety of additional needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to create tailored learning plans for students. Assist with personal care where necessary, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to build students' confidence and independence.Key Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential. Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable. A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to supporting students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
