The Opportunity
As M&A Project Manager, you will be responsible for all project management activities related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, helping to drive the strategic direction and growth of our organisation. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, develop the integration framework and manage the execution of the integration or divestiture process from due diligence through post-merger integration.
In this role, you will take the lead on developing detailed project plans, timelines and budgets associated with M&A activities. This will also include due diligence coordination, valuations, integrations and post-merger activities. You will play a vital role in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather the relevant information required for analysis and due diligence
* Communicating with all involved parties, including the executive team
* Developing presentations and reports to accurately depict progress, risks and potential issues
* Facilitating regular project check-ins to maintain alignment and address challenges
* Partnering with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance and accurate reporting on financial impacts
* Overseeing the execution of integration plans, with a focus on people, processes and technology
* Analysing post-merger performance to ensure value realisation and process optimization
