We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our expanding team at our Reggio-inspired day nursery in Tamworth/Lichfield, with a wealth of opportunities for progression and professional development within our growing chain of nurseries.
This is a new and exciting position for Nursery Practitioners to join us in a refurbishment of the nursery with new and exciting challenges in our ever-expanding company.
Our new nursery is located on an idyllic working pig farm with rural views, with tons of potential. We are also part of the "Golden Hello" initiative which can see a welcome bonus for eligible candidates.

The Old School House Day Nursery in Tamworth has been operating for over 7 years, having recently opened our second nursery in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield in 2021.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 6.00pm, we close on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Everyone deserves a well-earned break at Christmas!

What will your role entail?
You will be responsible for supporting young children in achieving their next steps in development through a key worker role, as well as providing outstanding levels of care to children at our nursery.
You will be responsible for a small group of key children, ensuring that you contribute to the fantastic parent partnerships we have created at our nursery through exciting events and parent workshops.
Injecting fun and creativity into the children's environment and activities, implementing your own ideas and creativity to support children's learning and development.
Sharing your ideas on how we can improve practice and support staff and children in our environment.
We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year’s experience working within a nursery setting and with the following attributes & skills:
* Must hold a relevant childcare qualification. For example, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
* Able to obtain a full DBS.
* Thorough understanding of the EYFS.
* Must have 2 suitable references and a clear DBS before you start.
* Advertised pay is due to increase in April 2024.

Pay: £11.85 per hour
Expected hours: 41.25 per week
