About the role.
This role will provide strategic leadership, guiding multi-disciplinary teams through both transformational initiatives and day-to-day operations. It involves overseeing financial management, budgets and risk, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. A key responsibility is to create a high-performance culture by coaching and developing teams, managing performance effectively, and fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability. The role also requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, translating strategic objectives into practical business solutions while maintaining an agile, forward-thinking approach.
A significant part of the role focuses on business development and partnership management, identifying new markets, opportunities and collaborations to drive AAT’s growth. This includes conducting market analysis, competitor research, and using CRM tools to support structured business expansion. The role will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions of new business relationships and will actively seek and secure strategic partnerships that enhance AAT’s commercial and brand value. Networking and staying informed about industry trends will be essential in shaping market strategies and ensuring AAT remains competitive.
Marketing and community development will also be a key focus, with responsibility for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and customer engagement. This includes overseeing corporate marketing plans, driving community initiatives, and ensuring alignment with AAT’s product strategy. The role will also lead efforts to secure sponsorship opportunities and partnerships while ensuring all marketing and sales activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
Who we are looking for.
This role requires a candidate with a strong background in securing new business and commercial partnerships, particularly in international markets. You will have experience developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, and expanding into new territories. A key aspect of the role will be managing effective sales processes through CRM and leveraging content-led selling to build successful partnerships. Your ability to drive business growth and establish AAT in new markets, both in the UK and globally, will be essential.
You will also have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, setting clear targets, and holding teams accountable for performance. Your leadership will focus on fostering a high-performance culture, guiding teams through development, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. In addition, experience in performance marketing, particularly within the B2B space, will be crucial in driving engagement and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
Collaboration and adaptability will be at the heart of this role. You will need to work cross-functionally within AAT, ensuring different teams align with strategic goals. Comfortable leading both remotely and in person, you will bring a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to leadership, helping to shape AAT’s future growth and market presence.
