We’re looking for a HR Manager to exceed our clients’ expectations by implementing the HR structure, process, and procedures across our forever expanding site based in Thatcham. This is a great opportunity for you to make a role your own and help create a positive culture across the site whilst embedding the GXO Culture.
This is predominantly a Monday – Friday role working office hours; however, being a managerial role, we do ask for a level of flexibility. The role is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day as a HR Manager:
1. Work closely with Site Manager and team to deliver & implement HR project plans.
2. Build and drive the site HR People plan to support an overall business plan, developing employee relations agenda.
3. Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees, ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
4. Ensure processes are in place for talent identification, succession planning, and coaching for leaders and high-potential colleagues.
What you need to succeed at GXO:

3. Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels.
