Job overview
The delivery and support of digital technology at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is fundamental in enabling staff to provide excellent and safe patient care.
The Trust has invested significantly in digital technology and the rapid increase of electronic patient record systems being deployed has created greater need for further Patient Systems resource to provide first line support to service users.

Main duties of the job
The post requires efficient, caring and proactive individuals with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.
Applicants will be providing first line support and assistance for using helpdesk software to patient systems service users. (Full training on patient systems and helpdesk software will be provided.) The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good IT and telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic, customer focused individuals to join the Patient Systems Team and support both business-as-usual and ongoing projects. You will provide specialist knowledge and support to system users, be committed to service delivery and continual customer focused improvement.

Qualifications
* A good standard of general education to GCSE level (5 GCSE grade A*-C) or equivalent.
* ECDL or equivalent qualification or experience.
Experience
* Experience of working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and challenging deadlines.
* NHS experience.
Knowledge
* Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to liaise and communicate with staff at all levels.
* Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
