Job Title: Conveyancing AssistantLocation: BakewellSalary: £25,000 - £30,000About the Firm/Role:Our client is a well-established regional law firm with a fantastic reputation within the local community. Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen within their conveyancing department for a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant.In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, supporting senior conveyancers in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress in a dynamic and rewarding environment.This role will see you:Assist conveyancers in managing residential property transactions from instruction to completion. Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts and completion statements. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth progression of cases. Handle client correspondence and ensure all matters are dealt with efficiently. Conduct property searches and manage the due diligence process. Assist with the preparation of documents for submission to HM Land Registry. Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures.About you:At least 12 months of experience working in a residential conveyancing role. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
