Our client, a well-established RIBA chartered practice are looking for a Project Architect to join their expanding team in Norwich. They pride themselves on offering a high-quality, multidisciplinary service to all of their clients. Our client is seeking someone with a good technical knowledge and motivated to continue & progress with their development.
The most successful Project Architect should have excellent design skills as well as strong technical ability. Our client works on a variety of projects with projects varying from small scale residential to larger scale commercial projects worth millions of pounds per contract. Proficiency with AutoCAD will be highly advantageous to anyone applying as this is the standard software within our client's practice. Our client are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join the team, so 2 years' post Part III will be required.

Project Architect Position Overview
6. Produce initial appraisal schemes, concept layouts and high-quality final planning layouts
7. Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines, working collaboratively with external consultants
8. Produce technical and working drawings and details
9. Produce freehand drawings as well as technical detailed drawings using AutoCAD
10. Write reports for clients
11. Produce Planning Packages and make submissions
12. Produce specifications and schedules of works with full use of the NBS system
13. Produce and issue tender packages
14. Project administration on site using the full JCT suite of documents
Project Architect Position Requirements
15. Experience working on large and comprehensive architectural projects
16. Strong technical & design skills
17. ARB / RIBA Qualified Architect, highly advantageous
18. Live within a commutable distance of Norwich
19. Good knowledge of AutoCAD
20. Strong client-facing and leadership skills to manage the design process
21. Good attention to detail with ability to stay calm under pressure
22. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
23. Great team skills and the ability to develop junior staff
24. A professional outlook and the ability and aptitude to represent the practice externally to clients and referrers
