An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen as a Head of Conveyancing and Legal Practice to join an innovate start-up law firm. Our client already has an established presence across the UK offering will writing services and with an existing £800,000 client base already in place.
We are seeking a Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer who will also perform the role of Head of Legal Practice overseeing all aspects of compliance for the firm.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgaging, and property finance.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring the firm's reputation for excellence and personalised service is upheld.
- Conducting all conveyancing procedures including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, leasehold documents, and other legal documents
- Ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory and legislative requirements
- Implementing, monitoring, or reviewing compliance processes and systems, such as GDPR, AML, practice wide polices, such as vulnerable clients, and understanding practice and matter level risk assessments.
- Acting as a formal point of contact for compliance in the practice to the appropriate regulator
What we need from you:
- 3 year+ PQE conveyancer (CLC, Cilex or Solicitor)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
- Proven track record of overseeing compliance processes.
