Position Overview
As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at Piano, you will collaborate with our exceptional sales and marketing teams to identify and cultivate new business opportunities for our Analytics product line within the Banking sector across the EMEA & Americas. This is an enterprise-level role that requires strategic thinking and a proactive approach to engaging with large accounts. You will play a crucial role in gathering insights and delivering frontline feedback from prospects, thereby contributing significantly to the growth of our pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pipeline Development: Generate early-stage leads through diverse engagement methods, including calls, emails, social media outreach, and follow-up from events.
2. Prospect Communication: Conduct discovery calls and qualify prospects to establish meaningful connections with Analytics stakeholders.
3. Analytical Expertise: Utilize your understanding of Piano Analytics to illustrate how our solutions address specific business challenges faced by enterprise clients. Assess client interest, commitment levels, and urgency.
4. Collaborative Campaigning: Work alongside Sales and Marketing to identify priority campaigns and develop strategic outreach plans to optimize engagement.
5. Innovative Outreach: Employ creative strategies to engage clients, including product launches, feature announcements, published research, company news, partnerships, and future initiatives.
6. Channel Leverage: Utilize various marketing channels—such as our website, conferences, webinars, and content marketing—to effectively engage prospects throughout their buying journey.
7. Networking: Build and nurture your professional network on LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify ideal prospects, establish trusted relationships, and convert leads into enterprise-level sales.
8. Data Management: Use tools such as Salesforce, 6sense, and SalesLoft to target, sequence, and accurately forecast opportunities in the sales pipeline.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in outbound opportunity generation, preferably with enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
2. Results-Driven: A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital analytics and/or the Banking sector is a plus but not required.
4. Location: Candidates must reside in the Greater London area.
