How to contribute to our vision We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Digitalisation Support professional to join our IT team at the Hull Blade Factory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Digitalisation efforts within our manufacturing environment, ensuring seamless operation and enhancement of digital tools and systems on the shop floor. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support to production employees, managing digital tools, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: Production IT Support: Provide dedicated IT support to production employees and systems, including digital tools, laptops, mobile phones, desktop PC’s and meeting areas. Act as the primary contact for IT support for production based internal users, external users, contractors, and business partners. Device Management : Prepare and handover laptops, desktops, and other devices, ensuring they are ready for use by new starters or existing employees. This includes laptop/desktop image preparation and device stock management Problem Management : Address and resolve IT-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Identify the root cause of these issues to prevent recurrence. This includes managing and resolving issues related to SECOMEA, VMWare, SAP printing, hand scanners, and other digital tools Change Management : Manage and implement changes to IT systems and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities. This includes coordinating team tasks, reporting, and communicating changes to stakeholders Cybersecurity Compliance : Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols and standards, acting as the Industrial Cybersecurity Expert (ICSE) for the site. This includes managing access control and supporting related processes Project Support: Assist with local and strategic IT and digitalisation projects, including the rollout, running, and improvement of shop floor tools and systems. This includes supporting projects like AI tool implementation, Blade Changeout, Optical Blade and IT integration with Siemens Energy User Engagement : Engage with users to understand their IT needs, provide training, and ensure high levels of satisfaction with IT services. This includes conducting inductions and providing new starter support Procurement and Stock Keeping : Manage the procurement and stock of IT equipment, ensuring availability and readiness for use Server Management: Manage and maintain servers to ensure optimal performance and availability. This includes supporting process cameras, CCTV, and Key Management Systems Network Management: Provide network management and support to ensure reliable connectivity for all digital tools, systems and users What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
