Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues. And so, if you start with us between now and 31 March 2025 your pay with be £12.50 and then from the 1 April 2025, this will increase to £13.01. You will be supporting 3 individuals in their own home in Bucksburn. They live close to a bus stop which takes them into Aberdeen Central. They love getting involved in all things on offer and since they live close to P&J Live they go there to watch the entertainment. They have all the amenities close by with local food shops and GP, dentist etc. They are all independent walkers, with one of them using a walking aid when out and about. They have many activity interests, including watching football, attending work placements and going for walks in the local area. Other activities include arts and crafts, puzzles and games, cooking and gardening. They love spending time with the staff who are fun, caring, empathetic and also enjoy having a good laugh. They have two staff on shift in the morning and evening and one member during the night. In order to support them lead their best lives possible out team have specialist training in autism and epilepsy as well as other numerous other training activities. We are looking for a flexible member of staff to cover 20 hours. Typical shifts include 10am - 10.15am and a day shift of 10am - 6pm.
