We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of older people, with experience in a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which will involve creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, and keeping accurate records of support planning. Additionally, the candidate will ensure that service users are offered opportunities, experiences, and care within their care plans. The role also involves promoting access to opportunities in local communities and enabling service users to continue to live meaningful lives.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people; our care homes also support a respite, STAR unit, and day service.

The Person
* Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
* Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
* You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
* Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification as mandated by the Scottish Social Services Council. Within the timeframes set at point of registration, once qualification is achieved, it is the person's responsibility to inform the Scottish Social Services Council accordingly.
* To ensure you achieve registration with the SSSC as part of the Older People’s Residential and Day Services requirement within 6 months of starting in a new role, you must apply for registration within 3 months of your start date on the register. To maintain your registration, you must hold or work towards the SSSC benchmark qualification for the role, complete the required Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) for the role, and submit an annual declaration via MySSSC. As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
