Job Purpose In this exciting and varied role within our growing Income Generation department, you will be a crucial part of the team responsible for expanding Ronald McDonald House Charities UK's special events portfolio with a particular responsibility for planning and executing golf events to maximise support and increase income. You will excel in this role if you have excellent relationship management skills and can connect with a diverse group of people. Being organised and a good project manager, you will confidently solve problems, secure financial targets, and take a creative and collaborative approach to deliver outstanding events. Key Responsibilities Successfully managing and delivering a programme of events across the UK with a particular focus on the golf event portfolio. Creating budgets and plans for each event, setting up and leading project teams as needed. Meeting financial and non-financial targets, including achieving a costincome ratio of at least 1:2 for all fundraising events. Collaborating with the wider Fundraising & MarComms Team to ensure successful marketing, recruitment, and development of supporter journeys to ensure optimum attendance. Attending and coordinating events on the day, with support from additional team members. Managing post-event activities, including follow-up, debrief, results analysis, and thanking participants. Managing and recording income and expenditure for events, contributing to management reports, data analysis, and identifying trends to suggest solutions as necessary. Developing effective relationships with third-party event providers to enhance our profile and identify suitable events to meet our income, event, and donor development plans. Developing and delivering opportunities for corporate engagement and sponsorship. Helping to identify new event opportunities and innovation particularly in the golf events arena. Building a network of leads that can provide gifts in kind to reduce expenditure on events. Skills and Experience Understanding and knowledge of golf rules and competition variations including scoring handicap systems. Demonstrable success in organising, planning and executing large-scale events, particularly golf tournaments. Experience working across functions with a diverse range of people/stakeholders. Significant operational planning and delivery experience. Full Current & Clean UK driving license.
