The Role As an Accounts & Audit Manager, you’ll: Provide audit and advisory services to a wide range of corporate clients, with 75% of your time focused on statutory audits. Prepare and review year-end accounts and oversee ad-hoc advisory projects for clients. Build strong client relationships and become a trusted adviser from day one. Work on-site at clients’ premises across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, in the office, or remotely through flexible working arrangements. Lead the technical development of the team, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of audit files. Mentor and train team members, identifying training needs and delivering internal workshops. Manage budgets, invoicing, and client payment processes with a commercial mindset. Collaborate closely with directors, partners, and colleagues across departments to deliver an exceptional client experience. What We’re Looking For Significant experience managing a client portfolio in an audit or mixed audit and accounting role. Expertise in FRS101, FRS102, and FRS102-1A financial statements preparation and review. Ideally, experience in solicitor accounts rules audits. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
