The Role: We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading precision engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth production transitions. Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing challenges. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions. Lead process validation and testing to ensure product reliability. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience Required: Degree or HNC/HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. CNC Experience is essential Experience in a manufacturing engineering role within precision engineering, aerospace, or similar environments. Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of CNC machining, assembly processes, and tooling design. Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
