An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic radiographer to join the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast service.
North Tees and Hartlepool Breast unit is recognised for providing both high level quality care to our patients and exceptional learning opportunities for all members of the team.
You will assist the Breast Services Lead, Programme Clinical Administrator and Clinical Advanced Practitioner in the organisation and effective delivery of both the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services.
Mammography experience is preferred but not essential. If required, the successful candidate can expect full training and support in developing the skills required to participate fully in ensuring delivery of a high quality patient-centred service. If the candidate requires training, they will be employed at Band 5 until training is complete.
The successful candidate will work at the North Tees, Hartlepool site and Breast screening locations within the community.
The successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary team and across clinical boundaries in support of patient care. Good communication is essential as you will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, their relatives and carers, and other professionals working in the trust.
At North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, our main priority is, and always will be, to provide safe and high quality care to our patients every day; the kind of care we would want for ourselves and our loved ones.
We want our organisation to be the best place to work with the right staff, in the right roles, at the right time, to ensure we deliver exceptional patient care and experience. We will support staff through providing an inclusive and supportive workplace with health and well-being initiatives, staff benefits, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Staff recognition is very important to us; as well as performance reviews and appraisals, we recognise staff through Star and Team of the month, colleague recognition - a note of thanks, Managers Awards, Shining Stars and Service Awards.
We actively encourage staff involvement with staff networking events and staff survey.
