UWCSEA is looking for a full-time School Nurse at its Dover Campus from March 2025, for the following shift(s):
7:15am to 4:15pm
09:00am to 6:00pm
11:00am to 8:00pm
Note: The successful incumbent will be required to work on rotating shifts based on the duty roster, Mondays to Fridays.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head Nurse, the incumbent’s role is to facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services, and actively collaborate with others to promote student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning.
Person Specifications
* Minimally a Diploma in Nursing and must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
* Minimum 2 years of working experience in healthcare or related settings.
* Relevant experience in school settings, paediatric settings, A&E departments, and/or paramedic skills are preferred.
* BCLS & AED trained.
* A committed interest in working with school-aged children, young people, and their families, providing a professional and caring service to the college.
* Willingness to undertake further formal training as required.
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and make decisions in a high-pressure environment with rapidly changing workloads and situations.
* Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
