Digital Designer | Hybrid
About us
We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to turn ideas into visually appealing solutions. As a Digital Designer, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create compelling content across various platforms.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the Brand Manager to produce creative content for multiple projects and teams within the business and our partners.
2. Create engaging assets for a variety of media platforms and projects including, but not limited to, UI and UX design for our mobile app, marketing website, and quote website. Digital graphics for social media, email templates, and company presentations.
3. Ensure our visual brand identity and tone of voice are interpreted correctly and consistently across all assets and materials.
4. Assist with managing and developing our media library.
5. Stay up to date with trends and best practices in graphic design, digital media, UI and UX.
Knowledge
1. Qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or similar, or proven experience as a Digital Designer, or similar role.
2. Deep understanding of design principles and how to apply these.
3. Appreciation of the importance of combining great UI, UX and CX.
4. A portfolio showcasing your creative design work.
5. Experience of working as part of a team, collaboratively.
6. Proficient in creative and professional software, including:
1. Figma
2. Adobe Creative Suite
3. Microsoft Office
Skills and experience
1. Excellent creative eye with an obsession for detail and a passion for design.
2. Software skills to produce high-quality work that is technically sound.
3. Good presentation and communication skills.
4. Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and styles.
5. Capability to develop and sustain good relationships with peers and wider teams.
6. Self-motivated to work independently, organizing your own time.
7. Management of multiple projects and able to meet deadlines.
8. Willingness for ongoing self-development.
Advantageous experience
1. Practical knowledge or experience of the following would be advantageous but not essential:
1. The financial or motor industry.
2. Designing and artworking for print.
3. Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).
4. A/B testing.
5. Animation and video production.
6. Basic HTML coding.
The interview Process:
1. Initial call with our Talent Acquisition team.
2. 1 hour Interview with the hiring manager.
